- At CharitosBO, we take abuse, fraud, and intellectual property violations seriously. If you encounter suspicious activity or believe your rights have been infringed, please report it here so we can take appropriate action.
- What This Policy Covers
This policy lets users report:
- IP Violations (copyright, trademark, patent)
- Counterfeit or infringing products
- Abusive or harassing content
- Fraudulent activity or illegal behavior linked to listings or accounts
- Who Can Report
Anyone using CharitosBO — buyers, sellers, rights owners, or authorized representatives — can submit a complaint if they believe a violation has occurred.
- How to Submit a Report
A. Report Abuse (Non-IP Police)
For suspected fraud, harassment, illegal items, etc.:
- Click “Report Listing” on the product or store page
- Complete the form with:
- Your contact details
- Infringing item details (URL, title, description)
- Brief explanation of the problem
B. Intellectual Property Infringement
For copyright, trademark, or patent claims:
- Use our IP Infringement form found under:
Footer → Report Abuse or Infringement - Include:
- Complainant’s full name and contact info
- Clear identification of infringing work/listing (URL/title)
- Certification under penalty of perjury that you own the rights
- Original IP rights (registration info, certificate)
- A statement asserting good-faith belief of infringement
Electronic signature (typed name acceptable)
- How We Handle Reports
- We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours.
- Our team investigates promptly; infringing content may be removed or blocked.
- Sellers identified as infringing may receive warnings or face suspension/cancellation, based on severity.
- Counter-Notification Procedure
If your content was taken down mistakenly, you may submit a formal counter-notification. The report submitter will be informed and given time to respond before the item is reinstated (following DMCA-styled process).
- No Abusive Filings
CharitosBO does not tolerate false or malicious reports. If a report is found to be abusive, CharitosBO may:
- Reject the report
- Suspend the reporter’s account
- Take legal action, if warranted
- Escalation & Appeals
For unresolved issues:
- IP rights holders may contact our Legal Team directly or request mediation.
- Buyers or sellers can escalate account or fraud issues by emailing support@charitosbo.com.
- Legal & Jurisdiction
By using CharitosBO, you agree:
- To comply with applicable national and international IP laws
- That disputes over this policy will be governed by Abuja, Nigeria law
- The courts in Abuja, Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction
